If you are beginning your cake journey or want to brush up your existing skills, this is the perfect course for you.
We will show you how to give your cakes a beautiful professional finish and the skills to decorate your cakes at home.
This course uses a 5" square fruit cake
You will
- Learn to line a tin correctly, mix and bake the perfect Fruit cake.
- Cover your cake in marzipan, ready for sugarpaste.
- Cover your cake with sugarpaste giving your cake a perfect finish.
- Learn about the different types of paste and what they are used for.
- Create pretty edible decorations to put on your cake.
- Decorate your cake with the decorations you have made.
- Put a ribbon around your cake and learn to tie the perfect bow.
At the end of your course you will take home your boxed finished cake and full notes.
